Carla Cid de Diego received her high school diploma from the prestigious DASH school of design in Miami, Florida.

In February 2003, she was contracted as designer for "Duende Ballet Español", for whom she creates all of the costumes for their productions.
In May 2003, she held her first fashion show in Miami, in which 24 dresses that she both designed and created were presented. In the same show, dancers from Ballet Duende Español displayed her designs that the company would be using in its 2003-2004 season.
For this event, she collaborated with: Scene Stealer Design for stage design; Duende Ballet Español for the dancing that was incorporated into the fashion show; and Rosa Mercedes (Artistic Director of Duende Ballet Español and choreographer for Florida Grand Opera and Palm Beach Opera) who choreographed the show.
In May 19, 2005 she, and 6 other students from her class, presented a Lingerie Fashion Show at Star Nightclub in New York City, and soon after graduated from the famous Fashion Institute of Technology.
On Thursday September 1, 2005 she showcased her Lingerie Collection at Bayside Hut in Key Biscayne, Miami.
On September 9th, 2005, she presented another Fashion Show for the campaign against Cancer at "Dave & Busters" of Hollywood, Florida.
In November 2005 she designed a collection for "Kaminarimon", a new production created and directed by the famous composer Frederick Kaufman, which mixes the sounds of Japanese Taiko drums with the rhythm of Spanish Flamenco dance. The wonderful choreography of Rosa Mercedes and the mix of the two cultures inspired Carla Cid de Diego to create truly mesmerizing designs.
Carla worked as assistant coordinator for the Florida Grand Opera Costume Shop during their 2005/2006 season, where she gained more experience in the Show Business world. She was hired that year by the singer Adriam Lobina to style the wardrobe for the photo shoot of his first CD and his following concerts.
In February 3rd and 4th of 2006 she, once again, showed her style coordinating the costumes in the Opera"The Magic Flute" performed in the Gusman Theatre in Miami by the "New World School of Music" students. Directed by Jeffrey Buchman and choreographed by Rosa Mercedes.
During June, 2006 she traveled back to New York City to volunteer as a designer for Mica Runway Fashion Show, a fundraiser for the deaf and hearing impaired, where she showcased a mix of her designs and collections and was showcased in the web magazine Ahorre.com Noticias.
In December of 2007 she was named Designer for Ascension Paris Lingerie, a French women Lingerie Firm that is based in Miami, Florida.
Today, Carla is developing a collection of designs for the new show, Gaia, which she has created with Scene Stealer Design, Duende Ballet Espanol, Jeffrey Buchman, and the collaboration of many other professionals. "Gaia" will be awaken in 2009.
